How Can psoriasis On The Penis Be Treated?

i have psoriasis symptoms at the base of and on the penis. Is this a particular type of psoriasis, or could it be something else? I m sixty one and in reasonably good health, with one partner the last 25 years. I take only vitamins, and Tylenol for medications. This did start once I began taking CoQ10 about a month ago.

General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hi and welcome to Healthcaremagic. I understand your concerns.
This location may be very difficult to control, but several options are available.
First, emoolients should be used in all cases and good hygiene is mandaory. Topical vitamin D creams can be used for mild cases and in more sever, topical steroid creams are required. Topical steroids may also be combined with antifungal and antibacterial agents because infections with yeasts and bacteria in warm, moist skin creases such as the groin are more common. I hope I have answered your query.
Kindly regards. Wish you a good health.
